Sport for Heart Kenya (SFHK) is seeking partnerships with organizations, professionals, institutions, and passionate volunteers who care about the wellbeing and development of children, particularly those from underserved and vulnerable backgrounds.
At Sport for Heart Kenya, we believe that sport is more than a game. It is a powerful tool for nurturing character, building confidence, promoting positive behaviour, and helping children remain in school and achieve their full potential.
Through our integration of sport, education, and character development, we create safe and supportive spaces where children and young people can learn, grow, and develop essential life skills.
However, we recognize that supporting children to succeed requires more than sporting opportunities. Teenagers face various social, emotional, and personal challenges that need attention, guidance, and professional support.
We are therefore looking for like-minded organizations and volunteers who can partner with us to address these needs and strengthen our work with teenagers.
Through sport and mentorship, we aim to improve school retention while equipping young people with essential life skills, including:
Self-awareness and confidence
Emotional wellbeing and empathy
Leadership and decision-making
Communication and conflict resolution
Managing peer pressure and setting healthy boundaries
Mental health awareness and resilience
We welcome partnerships with counsellors, psychologists, social workers, educators, youth mentors, NGOs, and other organizations willing to share their expertise and make a lasting difference.
