Acceptance
HEARTS encourages an attitude that is all inclusive of others. Every one at HEARTS is important despite their ethnicity, religion, beliefs, shared cultural values, characteristics, experiences, capabilities or talents and therefore we every individual’s contributions is crucial for the growth of the organization. We also encourage greater tolerance for one another.

We are intentional in creating lasting relationships through play. For us to relate well with our players, opponents and referees we ask ourselves the following questions about what we say or do.
- Is it true? Is it helpful? Is it inspiring? Is it necessary and is it kind?
We choose words and actions that build others up.

At HEARTS we encourage trustworthiness in the following:
- Honesty – this means to always tell the truth – EVEN when it is hard to do and also to Say what you mean and mean what you say!
- Promise keeping -we keeps everyone accountable to do what they say they will
- Loyalty -every HEART will protect & support the interests of fellow players and the team.
- Confidentiality –private information is to be kept private and gossiping is not to be tolerated.
Servanthood
We are all servants to the team and to the community. We therefore purpose to willingly give ourselves to service for and to others and to do whatever it takes to accomplish what is best for another. We will support and show compassion to all members of community
